Summer Blessings from House of Hope!

Dear Friends,
Happy Summer! We trust you are all gearing up for a time of warm weather, special gatherings with family & friends, and fun summer events. We’ve shared some photos and updates below of recent happenings at House of Hope. God has surely been busy! Thank you for being on this journey with us.

Blessings to you all!

From Everyone at House of Hope York

GOD’S HOUSE IS FULL …of Faith, Grace, Hope, Peace and Love!

Currently our residential home has 6 beautiful young ladies. Please keep each of them, their families, and the HOH staff & board members lifted in prayer. We are blessed by your covering.

Cora and Autum were both previous residents at House of Hope. Your support of God’s work in and through this ministry has made a difference in their lives. The walk they made on their graduation day to receive their diplomas, were made possible by so many people. People who supported and encouraged them with reminders that “they mattered” and that God has plans for their lives. Thank you for being a “difference maker” at House of Hope through your prayers and financial gifts. We wish Cora and Autum success in all they do and for futures filled with God’s abundant blessings!

Congratulations to Cora Wagner

2017 Red Lion Area High School Graduate
Attending Waynesburg University – Forensic Chemistry

Cora shares in her House of Hope testimony that “I now realize that the reason Jesus died was to make me worthy. God has made me clean through forgiveness and His grace. In Him I have found ‘The One'”.

Congratulations to Autum Arter

2017 Dallastown Area High School Graduate
Future plans to pursue Early Education at Delaware State

Autum recently shared with us her reason for pursuing early education: “I know in my heart when you have a bad experience early in your schooling, it can impact you to dislike education and learning. Becoming a part of a child’s education at an early stage of their lives is now very important to me. It’s an area I want to make a difference in.”

“For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” ~ Jeremiah 29:11

The HOH teens and teacher have been busy the last few months preparing RIVER VALLEY RANCH for the 2017 camp season. After all their hard work, some zip line fun was enjoyed! The teens will also have the awesome opportunity to attend a week of camp at RVR this summer. RVR is a non-profit ministry offering a summer youth center, retreat facility, outdoor education center and a destination for exciting seasonal events in a distinctly Christian wholesome family atmosphere.

Great job girls and many thanks to our volunteers!
